GENERAL INFORMATION

The College encourages students to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. For this purpose students can enrol themselves as members of the following :

1. N. C. C. (Girls & Boys) and N. S. S.
2. Co-Curricular Activities like Gymkhana Activities including Cricket, Hockey, Foot-ball, and Soft-ball.
3. Literary Activities of English, Marathi, Hindi, Participation in Associations like Swarsadhana, Tattvadarshan, Social Sciences, Casso, Manas, Chitravedh, Rupela, Art to Art.

These associations organise various programmes, exhibitions and competitions at the Collegiate and Inter Collegiate level some of which are —

1. Prof. L. G. Joag Memorial Lecture Series in Marathi.
2. Music, Quiz, Essay, Debating, Elocution, Dramatics, Fine Arts, including poster and on the spot painting, Flower arrangement, Photography, Handicrafs etc.

HOLIDAYS

The College shall remain closed—

1. on Sundays and public holidays as declared by the Government;
2. on holidays prescribed by the University both for the long vacations and for the Christmas break; and
3. on such other days as the Principal may declare from time to time. (These will be announced on the Notice Board).

OFFICE HOURS

The College Office shall ordinarily be open on all working days between 10.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. All cash transactions will be attended to between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. The office will remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.
